Aucuba is a striking evergreen shrub prized for its glossy, variegated foliage and resilient nature. Often called the "gold dust plant," it features deep green leaves speckled with golden yellow, adding year-round color and texture to garden beds, borders, and containers.
This shade-loving plant thrives in indirect light and moist, well-draining soil, making it ideal for woodland gardens or shaded patios. Aucuba is exceptionally hardy, tolerant of poor soil conditions, and requires minimal maintenance once established. It produces small purple flowers in spring, followed by bright red berries on female plants when pollinated.
Perfect for creating visual interest in dark corners, screening, or as a specimen plant. Aucuba brings elegance and durability to any landscape.
