Urban Garden Center is a family-run plant store and plant nursery in East Harlem, at 1560 Park Avenue at 111th Street, under the Park Avenue Viaduct. Our family has been selling plants in New York City since 1959. Come see the plants in person, or order online for delivery anywhere in the five boroughs or pickup at the store.

We deliver throughout New York City, and you'll see the cost at checkout. We can also carry your order upstairs with White Glove Delivery. Prefer to pick up? Pickup orders are usually ready within 24 hours.
Our story
Our family business started in 1959 as Dimitri's Garden Center and later moved from East 86th Street to East Harlem. Today we're Urban Garden Center, and we've been covered by The New York Times and others. We also offer garden services, custom steel tree guards and plant rentals.
