Recycled Pallet Planters
Rustic planters made from wood that would otherwise have gone in the trash. Every one starts as a used pallet and is handmade by our team in East Harlem. Simple, sturdy and affordable, for apartments, terraces, patios and stoops.
A second life for pallet wood
The pallets we use would otherwise have been thrown away. We take them apart and turn the wood into planters instead.
- We start with the hardwood from used pallets, mostly oak and sometimes pine.
- We pull out the old nails and set aside any broken pieces.
- Then we cut, sand and smooth the wood, and reinforce each planter for long-term use.
Every planter is one of a kind. Plant directly in it, or set a liner or a grower's pot inside. Use it indoors or out.
