Heuchera Plum Pudding, commonly known as Coral Bells, is a stunning ornamental foliage plant prized for its deep burgundy to plum-colored leaves. This compact perennial thrives in partial shade to full sun and reaches 12-18 inches tall, making it ideal for garden borders, containers, and mixed plantings.
The plant produces delicate pink or white flower spikes in spring and summer, adding vertical interest to your landscape. Heuchera Plum Pudding is drought-tolerant once established, requires minimal maintenance, and attracts hummingbirds and pollinators. Its evergreen foliage provides year-round color, deepening in intensity during cooler months.
Hardy in zones 4-9, this low-growing perennial works beautifully as groundcover, in rock gardens, or as an accent plant. Pair it with hostas, sedums, or ornamental grasses for dynamic color contrasts. Well-draining soil and occasional watering keep this native North American plant thriving with vibrant color and texture season after season.
