Black Mondo Grass is a striking ornamental plant prized for its deep, near-black foliage that creates dramatic contrast in garden beds and containers. This low-growing perennial grass reaches 12-18 inches tall and spreads gracefully, making it ideal for edging, ground cover, or accent plantings. Hardy and drought-tolerant once established, it thrives in partial shade to full sun and adapts well to various soil conditions. Delicate purple flowers appear in summer, adding subtle elegance. Perfect for modern landscapes, Asian-inspired gardens, or contemporary designs, Black Mondo Grass brings year-round visual interest with minimal maintenance requirements.
