The Schefflera arboricola, also known as the Dwarf Umbrella Bush, is a broad-leaved evergreen shrub belonging to the family Araliaceae, and hailing from Taiwan and Hainan.

Arboricola plants grow best under medium to bright indirect light, but can be maintained in higher light situations.

Temperatures for Arboricola should be kept above 60°F.

When watering your Arboricola, allow it to dry completely.

Wait until the soil in the pot dries out, and then thoroughly soak the soil when you water.

Avoid over-watering.

Yellow leaves that fall off the plant is a sign that you may be watering too much.
