The Christmas Cactus, also known as Zygocactus or Schlumbergera truncata, is actually a succulent bred from plants that grow in Brazil’s rainforests.

It gets its name from the fact that it usually blooms over the holiday period, bringing bright color to your home during the dark and grey months.

The Christmas Cactus flourishes in well-drained soil.

Use potting soil for succulents.

This popular, winter-flowering houseplant makes a great addition to nearly any indoor setting.
