Sphagnum Moss retains moisture and improves soil.

Functionality includes beneficial behavior as a soil conditioner, and increases micro-organisms activity.

Sphagnum is a genus of approximately 380 accepted species of mosses, commonly known as "peat moss", though they are different as peat moss has a more acidic pH level.

Decayed, dried sphagnum moss has the name of peat or peat moss.

Sphagnum is used as a soil conditioner, which increases the soil's capacity to hold water and nutrients.

This is done by increasing capillary forces and cation exchange capacity – uses that are particularly useful in gardening.

Has many uses, some of which could be complementary to growing orchids, hanging baskets, seedlings, and bulbs.

Sphagnum moss has several fantastic properties that will help you grow lush, healthy plants.

It is moisture-retentive, has a fibrous texture that facilitates drainage, and is less prone to soil-borne diseases compared to most potting mixes.

A unique decorative appeal.

Sphagnum Moss pairs excellently with Orchids

The American Orchid Society recommends thoroughly soaking the moss in water, then squeezing it out before planting.

Spread the plant's roots out in the pot before adding the moss, then carefully fill in all the spaces around the roots with the moss so that no air pockets remain.

We do not warranty or guarantee any living plant. No returns or exchanges on live plants. All sales are final on live plants
