There are 2 types of sand.

All-Purpose Sand, also known as Builders Sand.

All-Purpose Sand is great to dry lay pavers or to mix with soil, it has bits of gravel and tiny stones.

All-Purpose Sand is the ideal choice for hardscape projects, such as aquariums, traction aid, soil amendment, base for patios and pavers, base for above ground pools, pet litter or bedding, concrete masonry uses.

Washed Play Sand, which is similar to Beach Sand.

Play Sand has a soft, extra fine texture, it is washed with White Play Sand.

Play Sand is safe for children.

Asbestos and Silica free.

Both types of sand are excellent for Sandboxes.
