Urban Garden Center Planters Containers & Pottery

The upper surface of the leaf is dark green and the midrib is typically a lime-white color.

The primary lateral veins are surrounded by white-silver zones.

The lower surface is typically matte purple with green-white midrib and major lateral veins.

Noteworthy characteristics of Alocasias are large, heavily veined, arrow-shaped leaves.

Sap may irritate skin and all plant parts may cause mild stomach upset if ingested.

Likes, really loves, prefers moist but well-drained soil of moderate fertility in partial shade.

Indoors, grow in filtered light.

Provide high humidity, ample water, and fertilizer every 2 to 3 weeks during the growing season.

Cut back on water in the winter.
